Jack Marck is the Managing Director of the Illinois AgTech Accelerator and has devoted a career to finding and exploiting opportunities for improvement and optimization by overlapping rich data insights and analytics with expert intuition gathered from experienced industry leaders. Over the last 4 years, Jack has focused on agriculture technologies with a particular emphasis on on-farm record keeping, data management and data synthesis. In his current role, Jack supports early-stage venture backed companies on their journey to commercializing transformative technologies in Ag and Food industries. Jack is the Chair of IEEE Central Illinois section and lives in Savoy, IL with his wife Wendy and their 4 energetic boys.

Sensors-Data Interoperability for Smart Agriculture
Digitization in agriculture has rapidly accelerated over the past decade and the pace of innovation continues to increase. Innovative technologies such as blockchain-based supply chain management solutions, Al-based digital agronomy, autonomous and semiautonomous machines, and loT/remote sensing solutions have created an overwhelming amount of information. This talk will provide a brief update on current challenges and solutions for harmonizing and leveraging these data and provide a forward-looking vision to the opportunities to improve information flow in Agriculture to unlock operational improvements and accelerate innovation.
