Bérengère Lebental is a physicist specialised in nanomaterial-based sensors for urban and environmental applications. Her research shows the viability of nanosensors for high-impact applications such as air or water pollution monitoring or sustainable infrastructures. She has coordinated large-scale collaborative research projects such as Equipex Sense-City and the European projects Proteus and LOTUS (still ongoing).
She is co-founder of the startups Altaroad (which aims at smart and green industrial mobility) and Soterias (water quality monitoring).
